New Zealand Search and Rescue Assets
While New Zealand search and rescue’s most important component is its people, these people utilise a wide range of physical assets to support them in SAR operations. Few SAR assets are dedicated specifically for SAR work at all times, they are, for the most part multi-use and perform Search and Rescue tasks as a priority when it is required of them.
